North Ranch Students Participate In Greek Festival!
Athena
Drakides and Athena Costanzo, 6th grade students, along with Sophia Constanzo,
4th grader, danced in the assumption Greek orthodox church's annual festival
this past weekend (Nov. 6th, 7th & 8th) at the Scottsdale civic
center. These students are church members and have been dancing each year
performing traditional Greek folk dances wearing authentic garments from their Greek
villages.
These
students have become accomplished Greek dancers and are very proud of their Greek
heritage. It shows in their performances. OPA!!!
"Fourth Grader is an IronKid!"
On Saturday, October 3, fourth grader Daniel Gidaro
(Mr. Pownall's class) competed in his first IronKids Triathlon in Tucson. Daniel competed against 9-11 year olds from all
over the country. He swam 150 meters, biked 4 miles and ran 1
mile.
